We are proud to share a landmark achievement of the VisionAID Initiative in its very first program. VisionAID successfully collaborated with the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad (IMChO) to secure participation seats for two outstanding high school students, accompanied by their mentor, to represent Iraq and Kurdistan for the first time at this prestigious global competition, held in Moscow from 15th to 23rd April 2026. As part of our commitment to empowering talented youth, IMChO fully covered the team’s international flights, accommodation, and living expenses, ensuring that these promising students could focus entirely on this remarkable academic opportunity. We are especially honored that this participation coincided with the 60th Anniversary of the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, one of the world’s most respected competitions in chemistry, originally established in Russia. This year’s participating students were selected from Cihan International Schools, whose dedication to academic excellence continues to inspire future generations. At VisionAID, we believe that investing in young minds today creates the leaders, scientists, and innovators of tomorrow. This milestone marks only the beginning of many future opportunities to support talented students across Iraq and Kurdistan on the global stage.
