More than 182,000 innocent people lost their lives, many buried alive in mass graves. Entire villages were erased, families torn apart, and a people subjected to unimaginable suffering. The scars of Anfal are not only written in history books, but remain deeply embedded in the collective memory of the Kurdish people. This anniversary is not only a moment of remembrance, but a call to conscience. We honor the victims by preserving their stories, standing for justice, and ensuring that such atrocities are never repeated—anywhere in the world.
