[Strategic Milestone] Shaping the Future of Vocational Education in Kurdistan We are proud to announce that VisionAID (دەزگای دیدگا), in strategic collaboration with the National Taskforce on K-19 Education and the Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE), has successfully convened the first session of the TVET System Reform initiative. Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is a cornerstone of economic resilience. This session focused on: • Bridging the Skills Gap: Aligning educational outcomes with the real-world demands of the Kurdistan labor market. • Institutional Quality: Strengthening the standards of TVET providers to ensure excellence. • National Framework: Setting the foundation for a comprehensive TVET strategy across the region. The Roadmap Ahead: This inaugural session was dedicated to TVET providers. Our journey continues as we move toward upcoming consultations with Regional Ministries, followed by Syndicates, International Organizations, and other key stakeholders. At VisionAID, we remain committed to empowering the youth of Kurdistan by ensuring their education leads directly to opportunity and sustainable growth.
