VisionAID is proud to announce the launch of PATH (Peace, Awareness, Tolerance and Hope), our initiative under SPARK’s Networks of Change II (NOC2) Programme, fostering youth resilience in aiming to create a safe educational environment in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Implemented across Ranya, Chamchamal, and Halabja, PATH aims to strengthen collaboration between universities, schools, safe spaces, and local communities while promoting peace, resilience, inclusion, and hope among young people. Through awareness campaigns, capacity building, psychosocial support, strengthened referral systems, and institutional partnerships, the initiative seeks to build sustainable local mechanisms that contribute to safer, more resilient, and cohesive communities. At VisionAID, we believe that education is one of the most powerful tools for preventing violence, fostering dialogue, and nurturing a culture of tolerance, respect, and mutual understanding. Through PATH, we are committed to empowering local institutions and communities to develop sustainable, locally owned solutions that create lasting impact. We extend our sincere gratitude to SPARK for its trust, partnership, and continued collaboration throughout the Networks of Change II (NOC2) Programme. We also express our deep appreciation to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, whose generous funding has made this programme possible. Their continued commitment to peacebuilding, education, and community resilience is creating meaningful opportunities for positive change across the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Together, through PATH – Peace, Awareness, Tolerance and Hope, we look forward to strengthening communities, empowering young people, and contributing to the long-term success of the Networks of Change II (NOC2) Programme.
