Prof. Dr. Haider Hatem Al-Alijrish holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Program Evaluation). He currently serves as President of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and as a member of the Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation. He is also a Professor at the University of Babylon. He has extensive academic and professional experience in quality assurance and academic accreditation, academic program design and development, outcome-based education (OBE), accreditation standards development, and higher education policy. He also holds a Certificate in Creative Education from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom. He contributed to the development of the National Standards for Institutional Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions in Iraq and the National Standards for the Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs. He has also played a key role in training national reviewers for both institutional and program accreditation. In addition, he has supervised the evaluation and accreditation of more than 17 universities and over 50 academic programs, while contributing to strengthening collaboration with international accreditation agencies. He has designed and delivered numerous training programs, workshops, and professional consultations in the fields of quality assurance and academic accreditation. His research interests include quality assurance, academic accreditation, curriculum and academic program design, learning outcomes, digital education, and artificial intelligence in higher education.
