Onesmus Mbuko Titus is a Kenyan economist, researcher, and public finance specialist with strong expertise in development economics, fiscal policy, socio-economic development, and data-driven governance. He is a development-oriented professional with a strong interest in policy analysis, community empowerment, and sustainable economic transformation. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from Chuka University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics at the University of Embu. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics in 2016, which formed a strong foundation for his specialization in development economics and public policy formulation. He has extensive professional experience working with various organizations, including the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where he served as a Research Supervisor for the East African region, overseeing research operations, field supervision, and data quality assurance. He is highly skilled in Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) systems, including KoboCollect, CSPro, and ETEC platforms, supporting efficient data collection, monitoring, and evaluation in research and development projects. He is currently serving as a Fiscal Analyst, where he supports the legislative arm of the county government in the budget-making process, budget analysis, financial and fiscal reporting, monitoring and evaluation of budget implementation, data collection, data analysis, and report writing. His professional and research interests include economic systems, international trade dynamics, socio-economic development, youth empowerment, education, and inclusive growth strategies. He demonstrates strong analytical abilities in data interpretation, research writing, and evidence-based decision-making, with a focus on sustainable development and community impact. He is committed to advancing transparent governance, financial accountability, and inclusive development through structured, impactful, and community-centered programs aimed at improving livelihoods and promoting equitable growth.
