Short Bio: Saman Omar is an Assistant Professor of English Literature and currently serves as the Dean of the College of Languages at Salahaddin University-Erbil. With more than twenty-two years of academic experience, he has taught and supervised research across a wide range of topics in literature and cultural studies. His scholarly interests include the modern novel, drama, identity studies, and African American literature. His research particularly explores the intersections of literature and identity, with a focus on how narratives of race, history, and culture shape literary expression.
