
Dr. Salar Mahmud Muhamad Salih is majoring as (Assistant Professor) in English literary stylistics. A multilingual scholar fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, and English, with basic Persian proficiency, he holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Salahadeen University (2000–2004) and an MA in English Literature from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, India (2010), and PhD from Garmian University. Commencing his career in 2004 with Iraq’s Ministry of Education, he transitioned to higher education in 2008, joining the Ministry of Higher Education. Since 2024, He currently works as Director of International Academic Relations of Garmian university, spearheading global partnerships and institutional growth. His extensive work experience spans teaching at Kalar Central Institute of Teachers (2005–2008), curriculum development with Macmillan Courses in Kurdistan. He has further enriched academia through lectures at the University of Human Development (2011–2012) and Sulaimani University (2011–2014). He was also head of the English Dept. He wrote more than 10 academic articles.
