Prof. Dr. Adel Ali Hasan Dr. Adel Ali Hasan is an experienced academic and information technology professional currently serving as the Head of the Information Technology Department at the Technical College of Informatics – Akre, Akre University for Applied Sciences. Born in Mosul, Iraq, he has dedicated his career to advancing computer engineering and network management through both teaching and high-impact research. Academic Background Dr. Hasan holds a diverse international educational background: • PhD in Information Technology from Duhok Polytechnic University (2020). • M.Sc. in Communication Network Planning and Management from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom (2013). • B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Mosul University (2007). Expertise and Research His research portfolio is extensive, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. His work covers cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Semantic Web Technologies.
