Dr. Bestoon has been the head of department of Business Administration at Koya Technical Institute at the Erbil Polytechnic University from (2014 to 2016) and (2020 to 2023). Now head of department of Insurance management from 2023 to present. He holds a PhD in Marketing management from University Technology Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia (2014) and a master’s in Marketing management from University Tun Hussein Malaysia (UTHM), Malaysia (2020). He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Research Methodology, human resource management, marketing strategy, Entrepreneurship, Principles of Insurance, Principles of Management, operation management, Risk Management at College of Management and Finance. Dr. Bestoon Arranged led over 5 international conferences with UOR, UTHM, EPU, CTGU,and DPU. Recognized as a top researcher in Marketing in Iraq, he is skilled in grant proposal writing, project management, and reporting.
